Adam LaMotte, recently appointed concertmaster of the Northwest Sinfonietta in Seattle, has appeared as soloist and conductor with numerous ensembles throughout the country. He has become well known as both period instrument specialist and pioneer of new music. Mr. LaMotte makes his home in Portland, Oregon, where he often plays with the Portland Baroque Orchestra and the Oregon Symphony.
